Good work, but one little adjustement you should make;

Make static text non-selectable... Otherwsie you obtain what you have... Bouton and text that show the selection bar distracting eyes...

P.S. If you do care about that tab cheat, they used it against my game too... Use this:
In each Frame add this
on (keyPress "<Tab>") {
gotoAndStop(XX)
}
And remplace XX by the number of a frame where you can make fun of them... or simply a return to the start :D

Really few bugs, most of them are probably cause website playing is different from insoftware playing...

Your script seem pretty ok, delay when the camera is trying to fallow... camera was stuck here when I resized the game... if it's the same with you, you shall say no to resize... Btw, make it bigger next time, it's hard to see things when it's soo little...

Judging all; it's a good work, adding many more levels and achivements or something challenging and you'll get yourself something really nice!

Quite weird how the game seem to skips frames and refuse to let you do what you want...
If you forget that it doesn't work, the rest seem ok for a dress-up game...

Well, there is 2 points that are really great with this 'game'.

First your hitTest seem to work really nice which isn't always easy...
And the loading was even faster than this page... lmao

Keep working on; history and the finish... (Graphics could be really nice for some games)... Btw you could make your hero turn to the side he's walking (adding a 2nd image in the movie clip, and a little script: this.gotoAndStop(2) or (1) to change from image to image...)

5 Mb for this game? The 4 first mb must be in intro cause after nothing worth it...

'Press fire to start'... nice idea to say us what is the 'Fire' bouton... specially when it's a unsually button such as Shift...

The game is working which is really nice, but thoses squares are too high to let someone jump while trying to run faster. Few things such as loops or that thing that goes up and down, make you go really fast but doesn't accelerate camera which mean you are almost sure to die cause you don't see what is next...

If you spent less than 2h, it's ok... but I hope for you you haven't spent too much time on it

Sounds are nice, I didn't encounter any bugs
Hard at first to understand how to catch gas as you have to jump at good time but you won't touch it so it's hard to know when to jump...

For a beginner, it's really a nice work!
Few suggestions: When you reach the end, the game should make something instead of waiting for player to click New Game...
You also should make a "stop music" bouton. (on (press) { ;_root.SoundName.stop();}
Also, please, please, don't ask a car to jump! lol, ask someone instead, it would make more sense hehe...

After finish the tutorial you went through to make that game you shouldn't upload your game... but simply think if you really want to make a better version which could be uploaded here...

There is a section for beta tests, demo and such lame games as yours...
It's the third time I see the exact same game with only really few art difference but with the sames bugs and colors...

P.S. You should work a way to be able to make u-turn without dying because the controls are made under if (keycode == XX) ...
you can make that by working after with while (keycode == XX) { if (keycode == something else) then do the 2nd movement...
